Community Associations Institute - Washington Metropolitan Chapter

Washington Metro Chapter Community Associations Institute, a 501(c)(6) organization, is the largest of CAI’s 64 U.S. and international chapters with approximately 3,300 members, five staff, and a $1.35 million budget. Locally, our members include over 1,500 community association leaders and residents, 1,200 community managers, 80 community association management firms, and more than 300 companies who provide products and services to community associations.

Our mission: Educating, empowering and connecting stakeholders to strengthen community associations.

When we do our best work and fully deliver on our mission:
1. Managers, homeowners, and community association service providers are highly educated and informed on community association issues.
2. Legislators work collaboratively with us to develop effective community association legislation.
3. Community association professionals are well connected to each other, serving community associations more effectively.
