We can't wait to see you at the Nationals versus Orioles baseball game at Nationals Park on April 23, 2025, from 5:30 to 10:00 p.m.! You can access the stadium at 5:30pm with the first pitch at 6:45pm. 

 

This email is packed with important details to help you make the most of game day! Please read all the way through.

How to Access Your Ticket 

ALL tickets are delivered digitally through the MLB Ballpark app. Screenshots and paper/PDF tickets will not be accepted for entry.  Today we will start to send game tickets, you will receive an email from MLB with detailed instructions on how to utilize the MLB Ballpark app to retrieve your digital ticket and/or forward tickets to members of group, if you purchased more than one.  

 

MLB Ballpark app – Account Set Up 

Prepare now by downloading the MLB Ball Park app – App Store | Google Play. If you already have the app, make sure to UPDATE to the most recent version of the MLB Ballpark app. 

To create or log in with an MLB account: 

  1. Open the MLB Ballpark app on your phone 
  2. Log in to an existing MLB account or create a new account with the same email address used to buy your tickets 
  3. You may need to verify your email address if this is your first time accessing your tickets in the MLB Ballpark app. You can verify your email address by tapping the My Profile icon from the top left-hand corner of the Home tab, tapping on My MLB Account Emails, and tapping to send the verification email. 
  4. A verification email will be sent to the email address requested. Tap on the link in the email to allow access to your tickets in Ballpark 

 

That's it!  After, your tickets will automatically appear in the MLB Ballpark app under the Tickets tab or in the Home tab.  

Click here for helpful instructions on how to navigate the MLB Ballpark app. Before you arrive at Nationals Park check that your phone is fully charged and that you have your ticket ready on your mobile device.  

If you haven't received your ticket by 5pm on Tuesday, April 22nd, email us directly at info@caidc.org. 

 

 

Your MLB Ticket Includes:  

  • Ballpark Access 
  • Access to a private seating area, Swing Big Beer Pen 
  • A $35 concessions credit for food, beverage, or merchandise (accessed via your same ticket in the ap) 

 

Arrival Game Plan  

Nationals Park is located at 1500 S. Capitol St. SE, Washington, DC 20003. Arrive early to find parking, get through security and soak in the pre-game atmosphere. Closest Metro stop: Navy Yard-Ballpark on the Green Line. 

 

Ballpark Access - Gate Entry 

The Swing Bin Beer Pen is in Center Field along Budweiser Terrace next to section 243, where you can watch the game, socialize or relax from your seat. The closet gates are Center Field (located on N St, SE) and Right Field gate entrances; however, you can enter at any gate.  All gates will open at 5:30pm - 75 minutes before the first pitch, which is scheduled for 6:45pm. BEFORE approaching the gates, please have your MLB ticket QR code ready in the MLB baseball app on your phone.  

 

NOTE: 

WMCCAI staff will be positioned in front of the Center Field gate entrance, from 5:30pm- 6:30pm, if you need help with your MLB ticket before entering the ballpark. Once inside, if you're not sure where to go, ask an usher for help. They're usually happy to point you in the right direction. 

 

Clear Bag Policy 

Bags that are clear plastic and do not exceed 16" x 16" x 8" are permitted. Non-clear bags larger than 5" x 7 x ¾" are prohibited. All bags are subject to search.  Before you arrive, please review the full list of prohibited bags and items 

 

Food, Beverage or Merchandise Credit  

At the time of checkout, scan the QR code on your MLB ticket at any concession stand throughout the ballpark to redeem your $35 concessions credit towards food, beverage or merchandise.  Use the concessions guide to view the menu options and concession stand locations. 

 

Parking Tips 

To reserve parking before you go, visit: Where to Park at Nationals Park | Washington Nationals. Please note, some parking garages and/or lots around Nationals Park only accept credit cards while others only accept cash. Please plan for either option when traveling to downtown Washington.  

 

Before going to the ballpark, consider the following tips: 

  • Download the MLB Ballpark app in advance to access your mobile ticket. 
  • Wear comfortable clothing and shoes. Bring a jacket for the evening.  
  • Pack light. A small bag with essentials is a good idea. 
  • Bring cash for parking if needed. 
  • Use the MLB Go-Ahead Entry lanes for a fast, easy, hands-free way to enter the ballpark. You must be enrolled to use MLB Go-Ahead Entry. 
  • Grab a free game day program once inside. 
  • Prepare accordingly. There is NO re-entry upon exiting the Ballpark.
