From Newport News - 230 miles, 4.5 hours driving time

Take I-64 West to I-81 South. On I-81 South, take Exit #220, which will put you on Route 262 North. Take Route 262 to Route 254 West (the Parkersburg Pike exit). Route 254 becomes Route 42 South and then Route 42 becomes Route 39 West. Take Route 39 to U.S. 220 South and follow U.S. 220 south to The Homestead.


From Richmond - 180 miles, 3 hours driving time

Take I-64 West to I-81 South. On I-81 South, take Exit #220, which will put you on Route 262 North. Take Route 262 to Route 254 West (the Parkersburg Pike exit). Route 254 becomes Route 42 South and then Route 42 becomes Route 39 West. Take Route 39 to U.S. 220 South and follow U.S. 220 south to the Homestead.


From Roanoke - 75 miles, 1.5 hours driving time

Take Route U.S. 220 North to I-581 North (220 merges into I-581). Take I-581 North to I-81 North. From I-81 North, take Exit #150 B (Troutville/U.S. 220 north exit). Follow 220 North to Clifton Forge (follow the signs to I-64 West to Covington). Take I-64 West to Exit #16 A (the first Covington exit). At Exit #16 A, pick up U.S. 220 North and follow U.S. 220 North to The Homestead. Note: Do not follow Rt. 606 from Clifton Forge.


From Washington, D.C. - 210 miles, 4 hours driving time

Take I-66 West to I-81 South. On I-81 South, take Exit #220, which will put you on Route 262 North. Take Route 262 to Route 254 West (the Parkersburg Pike exit).
